I’m Beth, the photographer behind Velvet Alchemy. I create wedding and brand imagery through a fine art, editorial lens. My work is shaped by a fashion-forward eye and a pull toward the in-between moments, the ones that feel cinematic, instinctive, and quietly powerful.
I am drawn to contrast, softness and edge, intimacy and presence. Nothing is simply captured, it is felt, observed, and reimagined. Each frame becomes something more than a moment, something layered, expressive, and entirely your own.

I created my brand in 2018 to showcase an alchemy of artistic, fashion-forward imagery and my subject’s personality. I didn’t want to just photograph people, I wanted to tell stories in a way that feels captivating and creatively alive. I’ll be honest, I don’t follow trends in hopes of going viral. The greatest compliment I could receive is hearing what you feel when you look back on your images many years from now.
